If you are not vaccinated, you must quarantine, which can be completed by PCR at the earliest on day 5. From 19.7.2021 it is necessary to be COMPLETELY VACCINED. The border regime and the obligation of domestic isolation are also regulated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>General rules for arrivals from abroad<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No later than upon entry in the territory of the Slovak Republic, people arriving in Slovakia must register at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/korona.gov.sk\/en\/ehranica\/  (otvor\u00ed sa v novej karte)\" href=\"https:\/\/korona.gov.sk\/en\/ehranica\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/korona.gov.sk\/en\/ehranica\/ <\/a>and must be able, when requested, to show proof of registration during their stay in Slovakia.<\/li><li>People arriving in the Slovak Republic by air are also obliged to fill in the form of passenger location: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindop.sk\/covid\/forms\" class=\"broken_link\">https:\/\/www.mindop.sk\/covid\/forms<\/a>. <\/li><li>All unvaccinated people entering the territory of the Slovak Republic from 19 July, 6:00 hours must enter self-isolation, which ends, in case of asymptomatic course and without testing on the 14th day.<\/li><li>Children under 12 do not need to register. A child under 12 years of age does not need to be tested, quarantine ends when another unvaccinated member of the household (e.g., when other members of household receive negative RT-PCR test results, after being tested on 5th day of isolation).<\/li><li>Persons from 12 to 18 years old have their first registration valid by 9 August 2021. Persons from 12 to 18 years of age do not have to enter self-isolation if no one else in the common household has mandatory quarantine (e.g., if both parents are vaccinated) \u2013 temporarily until 9 August 2021, after this date entry requirements depend solely on their vaccination status.<\/li><li>If, after arrival from abroad, people have COVID-19 symptoms, they have to report this to their attending physician or pediatrician; if they do not have an attending physician in the Slovak Republic, they shall inform a locally competent physician of the self-governing region or call 112.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Unvaccinated person<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Entry requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Registration form via <a href=\"https:\/\/korona.gov.sk\/ehranica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"eHranica (otvor\u00ed sa v novej karte)\">eHranica<\/a> must be filled in at the time of an entry.<\/li><li>All unvaccinated people entering Slovakia must undergo self-isolation.<\/li><li>Self-isolation will end:<ul><li>in the case of an asymptomatic course by completing its 14th day, or<\/li><li>by obtaining a negative result from an RT-PCR test for COVID-19. You can<\/li><li>take the test at the earliest on the fifth day of isolation<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>After filling in the eHranica form you will be automatically registered for RT-PCR testing.<\/li><li>Isolation of children under the age of twelve terminates (if asymptomatic) by ending the isolation of persons living with them in the same household.<\/li><li>During the period of home isolation, isolation is also obligatory for people living in the same household (even if they themselves did not travel).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specified exemptions for unvaccinated\npersons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have\nnot yet received any vaccination against COVID-19, you can still apply for one\nof several exemptions from mandatory home isolation. These exemptions are\nbroken down on the form based on the conditions you must meet to claim them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions that require a negative\nRT-PCR test result no older than 72 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>permanent contraindications to\nvaccination on the basis of a doctor\u2019s certificate in accordance with Annex 4\nof the Decree,<\/li><li>you are entering or leaving Slovakia\nfor a short period of time in order to attend the funeral of a loved one or you\nare an accompanying person and you have a certificate to that effect,<\/li><li>you are performing a political\nfunction (official visits, delegations, MEPs, embassies),<\/li><li>exemptions granted by ministries,<\/li><li>players of a sports team, members of\nthe management committee or referees,<\/li><li>working in culture or research\n(editors, actors, restorers, etc.)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions that require a negative\nRT-PCR test result no older than 7 days<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Commuters<\/li><li>pupils and students<\/li><li>persons caring for close relatives<\/li><li>farmers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exceptions requiring a negative\nantigen test result not older than 7 days<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>pupils and students<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions not requiring a negative\ntest result<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Drivers or crew members (transport \u2013\nrail, passenger, air, freight, bus, boat, airport transport, repatriation of\npersons, funeral service, medical service \u2013 transport of patients, organs and\nblood)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions granted by\nministries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you are arriving in Slovakia by\nair, you are also required to register at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindop.sk\/covid\/\" class=\"broken_link\">https:\/\/www.mindop.sk\/covid\/<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you do\nnot meet the terms of an exception, you must take a compulsory domestic\nisolation. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions from compulsory home\nisolation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nfollowing do not have to enter compulsory isolation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fully vaccinated persons,<\/li><li>Persons between 12 and 18 years of\nage, provided that no person in the same household is subject to the home\nisolation regime (eHranica registration valid until 9.8.2021).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Home\nisolation after arrival in Slovakia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All persons\nentering the Slovak Republic from 06:00 on 9 July 2021 who are not subject to\nexemptions are ordered to be isolated in a home environment or quarantine\naccommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When does home isolation end?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the\nisolation is asymptomatic, the isolation will end on day 14 or upon receipt of\na negative RT-PCR test result for COVID-19, which can be performed no earlier\nthan the fifth day of isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Home isolation of children under 12\nyears of age<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the\ncourse of isolation is asymptomatic, quarantine of children under 12 years of\nage shall be completed with their parents or persons living in the same\nhousehold as them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Domestic isolation of cohabitants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All persons\nsharing a household with a person in home isolation must follow the same rules\nthroughout the period of isolation until the isolation of the person is\nended.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Obligation to show proof of RT-PCR\ntest no older than 72 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Persons\narriving in Slovakia by air from countries not on the following list are\nrequired to present an RT-PCR test no older than 72 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other exemptions from compulsory home isolation CAN BE FOUND <a href=\"https:\/\/korona.gov.sk\/cestovanie-do-sr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"HERE (otvor\u00ed sa v novej karte)\">HERE<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Definition of fully vaccinated persons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the\npurposes of the Decree, a fully vaccinated person is defined as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A person at least 14 days but not\nmore than 12 months after the administration of the second dose of the COVID-19\nvaccine with a two-dose schedule (the validity of registration in eHranica is 6\nmonths),<\/li><li>a person at least 21 days but not\nmore than 12 months after the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with a single-dose\nschedule (eHranica registration validity is 6 months),<\/li><li>a person at least 14 days but not\nmore than 12 months after the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine if the first dose\nof COVID-19 vaccine was administered within 180 days of overcoming COVID-19\n(eHranica registration validity is 6 months),<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Transit through Slovakia without registration to eHranica \u2013 drivers and crew<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For crossing the territory of\nSlovakia, it is still valid to pass without stopping except for refuelling,<\/li><li>transit must be completed within 8\nhours,<\/li><li>no need to pre-register with eHranica\nfor transit,<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter what country he comes from, but whether you are vaccinated.
