The Popradské Pleso mountain hotel (Horský Hotel Popradské Pleso) is located in the picturesque Mengusovská dolina (valley) in the Tatra National Park, on the bank of Popradské pleso (tarn), at the altitude of 1,494 metres above sea level.

Popradské pleso is one of the most popular locations in the High Tatras. Besides being easily accessible via an asphalt road, it is also the starting point for other hiking trails, such as the one to Mt Rysy.

The hotel offers accommodation in a unique mountain environment. It features modern amenities, including a restaurant serving Tatra specialities, a Finnish sauna with panoramic views, a jacuzzi, an ice bath and many other services. There is also a reception with a climbing equipment shop and rental, a ski room, a drying room and a spacious terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature.

Access routes to the Popradské Pleso mountain hotel:

• From Štrbské Pleso: A simple and easy route runs via a red-marked trail from Štrbské Pleso to Popradské Pleso and it takes about 2 hours to complete. The trail is 5 km long.
• From Popradské Pleso stop: An asphalt road via a blue-marked trail runs directly to the hotel. It takes about 1:30 hours (4.2 km) to complete. This route is also ideal for cyclists and families with children.
