Comfortable to Hrebienok by funicular
Take the cable car directly to the most popular location in the High Tatras – Hrebienok.
From Starý Smokovec (1017 m above sea level) a cable car will take you comfortably and quickly to Hrebienok (1272 m above sea level). In less than 7 minutes, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Tatra giants, such as Slavkovský štít and Lomnický štít, during the ride.
Hrebienok is an ideal starting point for hiking to the famous Studený potok waterfalls or to popular Tatra chalets. In the winter season, Hrebienok is transformed into a magical place thanks to the Tatra Ice Dome – a majestic structure made of ice, which every year amazes visitors with its beauty and original workmanship.
After an active day, relax at Hrebienok Restaurant, where you can enjoy delicious meals and unique views right in the heart of the Tatras.
