What do the Tatra information offices offer
Both Tatra information offices present mainly products of local producers. In addition to the important mountain insurance, information, interesting leaflets and brochures, zero-value bank notes and details about planned events, there is a wide choice of literature about the Tatras including professional works, photography collections and fascinating poetry. Hand-made edelweiss or chamois shaped jewels made by Matúš Krúčay or tourist marking shaped ones made by Miriam Veselá are really beautiful. One can buy wooden mini magnets with Tatranská Lomnica depicted, quality alcohol of the Zizak distillery from Poprad-Stáže, cosmetics with popular Shea butter of the Cyprianus company or DVDs of well-known film maker Pavol Barabáš. The centres also offer copying, printing and scanning services and a free WiFi Internet connection.
