The resort of Štrbské Pleso is the highest located ski resort with the lower cable car station at the altitude of 1.400 m and the longest ski season Slovakia. It attracts skiers due to great snow conditions, excellent tracks for slalom, downhill, cross-country skiing and top-quality services.
Skiers can enjoy 9 km of easy to medium difficult slopes which are popular with families and children but also experienced skiers. And there is an ecological ski bus that operates regularly between the resort and the park-and-ride lot or hotels.
Štrbské Pleso is the biggest cross-country skiing resort with 8 professionally groomed 0.5 to 5 km long tracks. There are cross-country skiing tracks with the total length of 20 km. The so called SNOW area is supplied with man-made snow and can be used all winter long. Various levels of difficulty and several kinds of tracks will please both – beginners and professionals. You can run around to your heart´s content in the FIS area, relax at a slow pace around the tarn of Štrbské pleso or make a trip to the valley of Furkotská dolina on cross-country skis.
Adrenaline lovers can visit an attractive snow park located on the left side of the Interski slope, where popular adrenaline competitions are often held.
