In particular, the organization:

• supports its members in developing and implementing a tourism development strategy,
• handles the marketing and promotion of the region both domestically and internationally,
• advocates for the common interests of its members,
• collaborates with local governments on regional development,
• supports cultural, social, and sporting life,
• participates in organizing events,
• develops and implements tourism projects,
• creates and promotes tourism products,
• produces promotional materials and represents the region at trade fairs,
• supports the development and maintenance of bike trails and cross-country ski trails,
• It promotes sustainable development and the protection of natural and cultural heritage.

The High Tatras Region Regional Tourism Organization is a legal entity established to support and create conditions for the development of tourism. Its goal is to build a significant and internationally renowned tourism destination within its area of operation.

The bylaws of the High Tatras Region Regional Tourism Organization govern its status, membership, governing bodies, financial management, the rights and obligations of its members, and the rules governing its operations.
