Skiing in the High Tatras

You'll find ski slopes with a total length of 24 km in three mountain resorts that differ in both location and character

Tatranská Lomnica is the highest-altitude ski resort in Slovakia—at the foot of Lomnický štít, groomed slopes extend up to an elevation of 2,196 meters. The resort offers the greatest elevation difference in Slovakia—1,308 meters—and the longest ski run in Slovakia, stretching 5,500 meters.

Štrbské Pleso is a traditional ski resort with perfectly groomed slopes, mostly of intermediate difficulty. In Starý Smokovec, a popular winter attraction awaits you—daytime and nighttime tobogganing on a 2.5-kilometer track. Each resort has its own character and offers something different.
