Discover the natural and historical gems of Kvetnica

The nature trail begins at a small lake near the sanatorium in Kvetnica and continues through the forest toward Zámčisko. From there, it runs along the main road to Hájenka and then along a southern traverse all the way to Visová.

Six educational stops provide insights into nature, forest ecosystems, and the history of the area. The trail offers a combination of beech, oak, and spruce forests, the historic site of Zámčisko, and views of the surrounding landscape beneath the Tatra Mountains.

The trail winds through rugged forest terrain and includes ascents, descents, and short, more challenging sections. A reasonable level of fitness and sturdy hiking boots are required for the hike.

Access to the sidewalk

The starting point is located in a forest park by a small lake in the Poprad–Kvetnica district. The site is accessible by car and public transportation.

Natural and Historical Sites

The trail passes through the area around Zámčisko and the forests of Kvetnica. The interpretive stops focus on local history, nature conservation, and beech, oak, and spruce forests.
